ACCIONA we are a leader in the development and management of infrastructure, water, services and renewable energy. Listed on the Spanish blue-chip IBEX35 index (ANA.MC), we are a public company with over 38,000 employees in more than 30 countries in five continents.
In the United States, we develop, own and operate renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
The energy business owns and operates a nearly 1,300 MW of wind and solar projects across the U.S. The company is an independent power producer focused solely on renewable energy. ACCIONA’s U.S. team is involved in all aspects renewable energy, including, financing, construction, project development operations and power marketing.
The company has designed, built and operated around 90 km of highways, and executed some of the most emblematic bridges in the region. Some of the most relevant projects in this area are the A-30 highway in Montreal, Rt. Herb Gray Parkway and the Southeast Stoney Trail, all built and operated by ACCIONA under the concession or P3 scheme.

In the U.S., we have successfully delivered major infrastructure projects since 2007. Our leadership and experience span the entire value chain, from research and development to construction, operation and maintenance of projects.
As for ACCIONA Energía, it owns ten wind farms in the U.S. highliting these five: Tatanka Wind farm, in North and South Dakota; San Roman, in Texas and Palmas Altas and La Chalupa, in Texas
The company has also built nine solar farms around the country. Nevada Solar One created in 2007, is the first solar farm that ACCIONA created in the U.S.
In the water sector, ACCIONA has built and operates the Tampa Bay desalination plant (in Florida), the largest in the United States, which supplies water to a total of 2.5 million people, producing 108,000m3 of water per day. This desalination plant came into operation in 2008 and has received several international awards in the sector.
