ACCIONA and AECON sign contract to build new Pattullo Bridge in Vancouver, BC

  • Fraser Crossing Partners has reached financial close on the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project in British Columbia.  The total contract is valued at $967.5 million.

Fraser Crossing Partners, a 50/50 joint venture between ACCIONA and AECON, has signed with the Province of BC the contract to design, build, and partially finance during construction, the new Pattullo Bridge replacement over the Fraser River in the Greater Vancouver area.

 The new four-lane cable stayed bridge scheduled to open in 2023 will provide a safer access to the communities of Surrey and New Westminster as well as cyclists and pedestrians.
