- M-30 Southern Bypass Madrid
The $697-million project involved the construction of a 4.1-km long city tunnel, with three 3.5-m lanes, 0.5-m emergency lanes and 0.7-m sidewalks. These tunnels were between the San Isidro and Praga Bridges, including the interchange between the Pirámides and Marqués de Vadillo roundabouts, the twinning of the M-30 between SantaMaría de la Cabeza, and the N-III junction near Conde de Casal.
A 3,538 m section of the tunnel was excavated with Dulcinea, the largest Earth Pressure Balance shield at the time of construction, with a diameter of 15.62 m.
Design and construction of the high-speed urban train in San Juan, running from Rio Bayamón via Centro Médico to Villa Nevarez and Hato Rey.
The longest tunnel excavated from a single entry point and the ninth longest in the world.
