The construction for the Government of the State of Campeche started in July 2009 and lasted 19 months.
The construction has a total length of 837 m. The bridges make up a total of four structures, with lengths of 195 m, 111 m, 167 m and 364 m, respectively.
The Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway is part of the proposed plan to connect Highway 401 in Ontario to Interstate 75 in Michigan, by way of a new Canadian inspection plaza and bridge crossing being constructed by the Federal Government in West Windsor.
The City of Edmonton wishes to undertake the replacement of the existing two lane Walterdale Bridge with a new three lane bridge. The new Walterdale is an innovate bridge with pedestrian facilities including a multi-use trail on the east side and a sidewalk on the west side.
